📘 EasyPutt User Guide

1. Getting Started

  1. Allow Camera Access: Please allow camera access when launching the app.
  2. Position the Camera: Point the camera at the green where you want to putt.

2. Mark Ball and Hole

  1. Mark the Ball: Tap the "+" button to mark the ball first.
  2. Mark the Hole: After marking the ball, tap the "+" button again to mark the hole. (Once a point is selected, the + button turns green.)
  3. SquareGrid Icon: After the hole is selected, the + button changes to the SquareGrid icon, indicating you can proceed to scanning.

3. Grid Scanning

  1. Start Scanning: Press and hold the Grid Scan button to scan the green.
  2. Continue Holding: Keep holding the button until all grid tiles are scanned. Tiles will scan row by row.
  3. Scanning Tips: If scanning fails, move closer to the target area and try again. The app may have difficulty if you are too far away.
  4. Reset if Needed: If scanning continues to fail, tap the Reset button and start again from Mark Ball and Hole (Step 2 above).

4. Understanding Results

  1. Aim: (e.g., "Left Edge ~ Right Inside") – guides your aiming direction based on slope and break.
  2. Distance / Adjusted: Shows the actual distance to the hole vs. the slope-adjusted putting distance (taking elevation changes into account).
  3. Stimpmeter: Controls the green speed used for calculation. Adjust this value to match the green speed (fast greens vs. slow greens).
  4. Wide Tile Mode: Expands the analysis up to 5 tiles for a broader view of the green's contours. This helps in understanding breaks over a larger area if needed.

5. Pro Tips
